Put on your thinking caps: use `six hats' for full-color thinking
Article Abstract:
Thinking capabilities could be optimized by using the `six thinking hats technique,' which was developed by Edward de Bono. The technique establishes that thinking has six different parts, namely, information, facts; creativity, ideas; feelings, intuition; caution, concerns; benefits, value; and managing the thinking, process control. The process should be used only by groups that have agreed to use it but its acceptance could be motivated by a qualified facilitator with adequate training. The sequence of the process also is crucial, although groups could choose their own sequence.

Don't get burned
Article Abstract:
A good understanding of temperature variations, the ways and the devices involved in controlling them help to prevent occupational and building hazards. Testing the working environment for thermal problems and consequences of uncertainties, such as nominal differential expansion, and temperate-variation error beforehand, is a first-hand technique in temperature control. In addition, it is wise thinking to check even the effectiveness of compensation devices.
